I grew up in Poston, Arizona which is in the western part of the state along the Colorado River. Poston is on the Colorado River Indian Tribes (CRIT) Reservation, near Parker, AZ. This is an agricultural area that gets pretty damn hot in the summertime.
I’m an active artist member of Xico Inc, a Chicano/Native American arts organization in Phoenix.
