Public Art: Rincón de Color
Rincón de Color rendering

I am collaborating with artist Jose Benavides on this public art project. This is an innovative public art project developed by the Phoenix Office of Arts & Culture to address extreme urban heat in Phoenix, funded by a grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Public Art Challenge.

We are creating a colorful temporary artwork structure that provides shade and has a motion activated misting system. Our project is titled Rincón de Color and will be located at Cielito Park, 3402 West Campbell Avenue in Phoenix.

Celestial Juggler
I am absolutely thrilled to have been selected to be a part of this exhibition for 2025/26 at Elizabeth “Liz” C. Archuleta County Park in Flagstaff.

My Celestial Juggler will be on display until March, 2026. That means it’s a great excuse to come to cool Flagstaff to escape the summer heat. And to come by the park and check out Celestial Juggler in person.

The rendering on the right shows the piece. Hint: this overall piece is 10’ tall.

This exhibition will be on display until April 16, 2026.
